Delivery

Will there be added any customs fee to my order when importing?

No. We handle customs and the importation from Denmark to United Kingdom, so no extra fees or charges will be added to your order.

When will my package arrive?

Your package should arrive within the below-mentioned number of days. However, delays with our couriers occasionally happen.

Please check your shipping confirmation to find your tracking link. Keep in mind that tracking information can take 24-48 hours to update. Please be patient with updates, especially around the weekend.

If you have selected the STANDARD SHIPPING option, your package typically arrives in:

Delivery can vary from 1-14 business days, depending on the destination. We appreciate your patience.

IF YOU HAVEN'T RECEIVED YOUR ORDER AFTER 14 BUSINESS DAYS, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

  1. Check your order confirmation for any misspellings or if we have the correct address.
  2. Please contact us and tell us if you found an error in your address information. Our customer success agents will help you out.
  3. If the courier lost your package or the package arrives in a poor condition, please let us know so that we can present you with compensation options. 
How late can I place my order?

Are you the last-minute type? That's not a problem. If you order before 15:00 CET your order will leave our warehouse on the same day. However, delays unfortunately can happen.

Orders placed on Friday after 15:00 or during the weekend will be packaged during the weekend, but usually not shipped before the following working day.

EXPRESS SHIPPING
Prices for EXPRESS SHIPPING vary with destination and/or size of the shipment. Please find your price when you checkout. Prices start at $19.

FREE SHIPPING OFFERS
Our free shipping applies to countries in which we have a shipping partner. If the country you selected doesn't have a local partner, we can ship with DHL Express - however, this will be at an extra charge, depending on the region.

Please note that all costs related to local customs are not covered by Lakrids by Bülow A/S.
This also includes inspection fees, such as BTA prior notice.

I am missing something in my package

If you received a package with missing items, please contact us and include your order number and the name of your missing item(s). We'll send you a replacement immediately and let our warehouse know, so it doesn't happen again.

We apologize for any delays or inconvenience this might cause. We're doing our best to avoid mistakes like these, but unfortunately, they occur once in a while.

I received melted/ruined products

If you received a package with melted or ruined items, please contact us and have the following information at hand

  • Your order number. You can find this in your order confirmation email. It usually looks something like this: LBB000123456
  • A picture of the product if it is in a poor condition, melted, ruined or in another way not edible.

We'll look at the issue and present you with different solution options to either refund or resend the products. All costs are covered by us.

Can I get this to my country?

We would love to be able to deliver to every single country in the world. However, unfortunately, that is not possible at the moment.

This is usually because of shipping or customs restrictions around the world and/or temperature issues. Our products are very heat sensitive, so some regions of the world have proven too hard to ship to.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we do have free shipping offers in countries where we have a local shipping partner. If the country you selected doesn't have a local partner, we can ship with DHL Express - however, this will be at an extra charge, depending on the region.

Do I get a tracking number when ordering?

Yes. Once we dispatch your order, your shipping confirmation will include a tracking link. 

Can I add a personal message?

Yes, a personal message printed on a card is available for all online orders free of charge. To add one, tick the checkbox and write a message in step 2 of the checkout process.

What is the shelf life of the liquorice?

You can see the shelf life of the particular product in the best before field on the packaging. All our products have a 10-month expiration from the date of production. They need to be stored dry and not too hot.

We do not ship any products with less than three months of remaining shelf life.

Returns

Can I return my package/product?

If your order was not as you expected, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at the latest. We only accept unopened products. The cost of getting the package back to us is yours, but we will happily cover the cost of sending any replacement to you.

Do I have to pay for return postage?

Unfortunately, we can't offer free return shipping. If you would like to return, please contact us here.

Can I cancel my order after I've placed it?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call our Consumer Service: +441234923135.

Orders are usually dispatched from our warehouse the same day as we receive them. Once dispatched, we cannot cancel the order, unfortunately.
