Pricing, Payment & Tax
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Mastercard Maestro, American Express and PayPal for online purchases. Prices are subject to change without notice. No VAT refunds when shipping to non-EU countries. Prices for non-EU countries are higher due to the additional costs involved in shipping products outside the EU.
We ship from Denmark and local customs costs are not covered by LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW
Returns & Exchanges
We carefully inspect your order before we ship it off. But if your order is not exactly what you expected, just send it back to us un-opened within 14 days of receipt and we'll happily provide a refund or exchange. The cost of getting the package back to us is yours but we will happily cover the cost of sending any replacement to you.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR LAKRIDS LOVERS
These Terms and Conditions apply specifically to your membership in LAKRIDS LOVERS and were last updated on 7 July 2021. It is important that you take the time to read them carefully before you sign up for LAKIDS LOVERS.
These Terms and Conditions apply when you sign up for LAKRIDS LOVERS.
LAKIDS LOVERS is offered BY LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, which has its address at Sydholmen 5, 2650 Hvidovre and can be contacted by email at service@lakridsbybulow.co.uk.
What is LAKRIDS LOVERS?
LAKRIDS LOVERS is a taste panel for liquorice LOVERS that gives access to a range of TREATS – everything from exclusive MINIs to promotions, all available exclusively to LAKRIDS LOVERS.
How do you become a part of LAKRIDS LOVERS?
Becoming a member of LAKRIDS LOVERS is voluntary and there is no lock-in period. You can sign up for LAKRIDS LOVERS via our website. To be a part of LAKRIDS LOVERS you must be 18 years of age or older. In connection with registration, you will be asked for a number of contact details. You can read more about how we process this information in the section “Processing of your personal data” below. You will then receive a login and a unique LAKRIDS LOVERS ID. When shopping in our stores, you can provide your LAKRIDS LOVERS ID, phone number or email address to access your TREATS in connection with your purchase. You need a Danish mobile number and an email address to join LAKRIDS LOVERS in Denmark.
You must protect your LAKRIDS LOVERS ID and password and must not disclose them to anyone other than us. You may not allow others to use your registration details and password to access our website. You acknowledge that you will notify us immediately if you discover unauthorised use of your registration information or password, or become aware of any other form of security breach.
LAKRIDS LOVERS benefits
As a LAKRIDS LOVER, we offer you a range of TREATS. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify parts of these TREATS, as well as the website content, at any time, at our sole discretion and with or without notice. All TREATS are subject to availability. Significant changes to TREATS will be communicated in writing on the provided email with one month’s notice. It is therefore important that you be sure to update your contact information.
Nonessential changes and changes to TREATS for your benefit may be made without prior notice.
How to contact
When you become a member of LAKRIDS LOVERS, we ask, among other things, for your consent to contact you with targeted marketing communication via email with information about LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW product news, special campaigns, questionnaires, invitations to competitions and events, etc. Your consent is voluntary and you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time free of charge by using the unsubscribe link in the individual emails or by contacting service@lakridsbybulow.co.uk.
However, if you do not wish to give your consent, we cannot send you information about LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW product news, special campaigns, questionnaires, invitations to competitions and events, etc. We therefore hope that you will give us your consent.
Processing of personal data
LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is the data controller for the personal data that you provide when you sign up for LAKRIDS LOVERS. Thus, when you sign up for LAKRIDS LOVERS, we process your personal data for the purpose of administering your LAKRIDS LOVERS account and to communicate with you about TREATS and special promotions and offers for the members of LAKRIDS LOVERS.
Basis for processing
Our processing of personal data is primarily based on Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 6(1) of the Danish Data Protection Act, where we assess that the processing is necessary to fulfil legitimate interests that outweigh the interests of the data subject.
If the processing of personal data is based on consent, e.g., when you subscribe to newsletters, our legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 6(1) of the Danish Data Protection Act.

Managing your LAKRIDS LOVERS account
We process your personal data in order to manage your LAKRIDS LOVERS account below in order to give you access to your TREATS and communicate with you about your LAKRIDS LOVERS account.
For the above purposes, we process the following data about you:
• The contact information you provide when you sign up for LAKRIDS LOVERS and when you update your profile, including name, address, email and phone number; • Your LAKRIDS LOVERS ID; • Information about your purchases in LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW stores and on lakridsbybulow.co.uk when you identify yourself; • Information collected when you communicate with us regarding your LAKRIDS LOVERS account.
Use of social media
We use social media such as Facebook to communicate with members of LAKRIDS LOVERS.
If personal data is collected and disclosed to social media in connection with such use of plugins or links to social media, it is established in legal practice that LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW becomes the 'joint data controller' with e.g., Facebook, with respect to the collection and processing of personal data via the website. However, Facebook itself is responsible for their own further processing of the personal data.
LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW follows the Danish Data Protection Agency’s guidelines on joint data responsibility, and tries to use the applicable tools to ensure that you receive information about the processing of your personal data when you visit the website. Together with other companies, we are continuously trying to enter into a dialogue with Facebook about the regulation of joint data responsibility.

What personal data is collected on Facebook?
Depending on your behaviour on the website, including your choice of consent to cookies, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW and Facebook may receive the following personal data about you:

We also process your personal data linked to your member account for the purpose of sending you marketing and for profiling, so that we can better target marketing to you and your interests. For the above purposes, we process the data mentioned above under the item 'Administration of your LAKRIDS LOVERS account' and the following data:
• Information about which newsletters you open and click on; • Information about which pages you visit on lakridsbybulow.co.uk when you are logged in and which products you click on and add to the basket; • Other information you provide to us in connection with your LAKRIDS LOVERS account, e.g., gender, interests; • Information about competitions in which you participate; • Product reviews that you make on lakridsbybulow.co.uk; • Information collected via cookies to the extent that you have separately consented to our use of cookies.
Your privileges
You always have the right to know which personal data we have registered about you, and you can always ask us to correct or delete your data if it is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant. You can also always change your master data yourself on your personal profile at lakridsbybulow.co.uk.
You also have the right to data portability (i.e. the right to receive personal data in a machine-readable format) and to object to our processing of your personal data. For the sake of good order, we would like to point out that you may be asked to provide identification if you request access to or disclosure of your personal data. We do this to ensure that we do not disclose personal data to unauthorised parties.
Participation in competitions
We process the personal data you give us in connection with your participation in our competitions for the purpose of communicating with you and to be able to send you any prizes.

Other conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all matters relating to your LAKRIDS LOVERS account and your access to your TREATS, which means that you cannot claim that we have made any representations or warranties other than those included in these Terms and Conditions. Please note that LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW’s general terms and conditions of sale, which are available on our website, govern your purchase of products or services from LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, just as LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW’s general Privacy Policy supplements the information about our processing of personal data in these Terms & Conditions. Applicable law and legal venue
The present Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your LAKRIDS LOVERS account by written notice if you breach any of these Terms and Conditions or if you misuse your TREATS. We reserve the right to change or terminate this programme at any time with three months’ notice. We also reserve the right to change or terminate LAKRIDS LOVERS or an associated account with immediate effect if required by local law. We can change TREATS as well as the Terms and Conditions. In the event of significant changes, we will issue notice of this one month before the changes come into force.
Your membership of LAKRIDS LOVERS is nonbinding and you can unsubscribe from LAKRIDS LOVERS at any time. Unsubscribing and closing your LAKRIDS LOVERS account must be done through your LAKRIDS LOVERS account, which you can access via our website.
Claims
If you believe that we have breached the applicable rules on the protection of personal data in our processing of your data, we encourage you to contact us at service@lakridsbybulow.co.uk in the first instance so that we might take a position on your claim.
