BAKED FIGS WITH TALEGGIO AND LIQUORICE GLAZE
SERVES 4
LIQUORICE GLAZE
50 g liquid honey
100 ml balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp. SYRUP - LIQUID LIQUORICE
FIGS
12 fresh figs
200 g Taleggio cheese
LIQUORICE GLAZE
Put the honey, balsamic vinegar, and liquorice syrup in a saucepan and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the glaze has reduced by about half. Let the glaze cool completely.

Cut a small cross at the top of each fig. Place them on baking paper in an ovenproof dish and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 8-10 minutes. Let them cool slightly.
■ Cut the cheese into 12 pieces. Press the cheese into the warm figs, arrange them on a platter or plate, and drizzle with the liquorice glaze. Serve immediately.
