In this organic SLOW CRAFTED STICK we have combined the intense notes of raw liquorice with the floral sweetness of honey to create a harmonious symphony, perfect for every sweet tooth. Our organic SLOW CRAFTED liquorice has been cooking for several hours and infused with organic honey from a local Danish producer. The SLOW CRAFTED collection is based on the original recipe Johan Bülow cooked when LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW was founded on Bornholm in 2007. Johan Bülow had spent a whole year in his mother's kitchen with a dream of re-inventing liquorice by elevating it to a gourmet experience. The slow crafted liquorice is gently cooked in an open batch for four hours and hand crafted creating a rich caramellike texture of the liquorice.
After years of refinement, it is now made with carefully selected, organic ingredients. We are so happy to be able to introduce you to our SLOW CRAFTED collection: MILK & HONEY, MANGO VANILLA, CARAMEL DATE, AND DARK TRUFFLE... All of them in our glass jars designed for reuse!

Our liquorice should optimally be stored in a dark and cool room (But room temperature around 20 - 23 °C is okay). Keep away from moisture and heat.
Our philosophy behind the SLOW CRAFTED collection is to create a sustainable option that uses less material long-term. We have spent two years developing our REFILL bags, which are currently made of recyclable plastic. We are continuously working on improving our material usage by exploring options for sourcing an even more sustainable solution. Stay tuned for exciting updates. By introducing the REFILL bags, we reduce the plastic packaging by 84 % compared to our REGULAR recycled plastic jars.
